A Beautiful Day at TVM - Oct, 25, 2014
Florida Keys Down Syndrome Educational Trust (FKDSET) aims to continue to fund unlimited developmental opportunity to children with Down Syndrome in the Florida Keys.
Recently they held their annual Two Shoes Walk Two Miles event. Treasure Village Montessori was host site for the gathering. It was a wonderful day. We’d like to share this video footage to highlight the gathering.

"Since 2009 the small group of Down Syndrome children that FKDSET supports have had access to the best speech, physical and occupational therapists, the most professional special needs tutors, swimming, paddle-boarding, dance and theatrical instructors and the most dynamic life skills and vocational coaches. We brought the i-pads for school and the glasses so they can see, FKDSET works for 3 to 16 year olds in Monroe County, all the money stays here, and all of us volunteer, more than 90% of the funds go straight to the service providers. Check us out on www.fkdset.org"
